All you have to do is ask.
Sometimes, we as humans are pretty proud, maybe even a little stubborn. Oftentimes, we just don’t ask for help. Maybe, it’s just not in our DNA.
Every venue is different. However, I love the ones that ask for marketing help on promoting a gig. I think it may be a case, that most venues figure it’s up to them, to be creative and determine out how best to market the event. I look at it this way. Two heads are almost always better than one.
Creating an enticing piece of marketing material has never been easier. Although, it does take some effort. I tend to start off with some phrases listing the key points I would like to get across. I then take the phrases and assemble them together in the order I feel that makes the most sense. Now, I rewrite the assembled paragraph a few times, until it’s where I think it needs to be. Next, is the really fun part. I take the write up and put it through AI and ask for three alternatives.
I use Microsoft Copilot for my AI assistant. I am truly amazed at how good Copilot really is especially, for alternative ways to say something. It comes up with just the right words. I then take the best portions of the alternatives and create my final draft. It’s almost like you have your own personal copyrighter to lean over to and ask an opinion.
