Mike Lucey Acoustic* represents my musical journey as a singer/songwriter, independent artist and performer. The music I write comes from the heart, my own personal experiences and the experiences of those around me. I think you'll find my songs "Catchy" and relatable and fall into the Indie Pop and Modern Country categories. The instrumentation is simple, I use a suitcase drum kit, an acoustic guitar and vocal. I have published three EPs to date and its easy to see the progression of my music. I often ask people how my music makes them feel. The common response I get is that my music makes them feel good. It is my hope that my music reduces your stress levels, lets your mind travel to another place and puts you in a good mood no matter what the day brings. My music has been compared to a blend of Tracy Chapmen, Dustin Lynch and Jimmy Buffet with songwriting in the style of Ben Rector.
